Recent hip replacement affects walking ability.
Panic attacks 12 months ago - taking Sertraline ever since.
Prostate cancer and stage 4 kidney disease.
Severely deaf, use hearing aids.
Suggested improvements
Excellent revive by lovely nurses.
Appreciate the local service at own doctors.
Nothing to fault.

As a retired State Registered Nurse I was very disappointed and dismayed at the poor service given. I came to the unit because of a swelling I under the base joint of my right foot and very painful. I was seen by a Sister on the unit who looked my foot and then told there was nothing she could do and suggested I refer to my Gp again who I had seen a week earlier and advised to take strong pain relief which unfortunately did nothing to surpress the pain. So I left the unit still in immense pain and limping.
The least I was expecting was an X-ray and further advice on appropriate pain relief….incidentally I did notice that although there was many people waiting once their name s had been called they appear to have been seen very quickly like I was and probably given the same advice as I was I,e go and see you doctor
Why it is referred to as an Urgent Care Centre seems to me somewhat overstated

Given proper care and consideration and treatment as required the sort of service and duty of care one should expect from professionals

The nurses were very professional they acted with empathy and kindness. They were knowledgable and caring and made time to listen and understand .
